In a parable, Jesus complimented people who see and feed the hungry, give water to the thirsty, welcome strangers, clothe the needy, care for the sick, and visit prisoners (Matthew 25:31–46). We call them Matthew 25ers.

A Matthew 25er lives faithfully in response to the needs Jesus Christ sees.
The parable of the judgment of the sheep and goats stands at the climax of Jesus' public ministry. Arrest and crucifixion is only two days away.
He said, "What you did to the least of these, you also did not to me."
"I was hungry..."
"I was thirsty..."
"I was a stranger..."
"I needed clothes..."
"I was sick..."
"I was in prison..."
The King so identifies with the vulnerable that service rendered to them is service rendered to Him.
The One who is about to bear the sins of the world reminds His followers that genuine allegiance to Him will be revealed by how they treat those who are most easily overlooked.
A Matthew 25er sees this truth, loves his neighbor, and plants hope for their better future because Jesus went to the Cross with the vulnerable on His heart.
The Gospel of Jesus inspires His followers to love others through action. Some teach and write to inspire younger generations. Others respond to disasters, dig wells, feed the hungry, heal the sick, visit prisoners, care for orphans, and welcome strangers and immigrants.
